Good news from SIPO.  The patent applications in Shenzhen reached new record in the first-half of this year once again, in which the PCT patent applications were 5,261 cases accounted for half of total PCT applications in China.  Large local enterprises such as ZTE were distinguished among those applicants.

 The PCT applications in Shenzhen was 51.2% of the country in the first-half year rose by 6.6 percentage points higher over the same period of last year which was 44.6%.  Before that, the number of the PCT applications in Shenzhen had been ten years continued to be highest among the major cities in China.  In 2013, the PCT applications in Shenzhen were 10,049 cases accounted for 48.1% in China, that broke through ten thousand cases for the first time.
